How to calculate a discount
A discount reduces the original price of an item by a certain percentage. To calculate the discount amount, multiply the original price by the discount percentage divided by 100.
Discount Amount = Original Price × (Discount % ÷ 100)
Then subtract the discount amount from the original price to find the final sale price.
